EN 1.4401 (X5CrNiMo17-12-2 / AISI 316) is a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel, containing approximately 16-18% chromium, 10-13% nickel, and 2-2.5% molybdenum, significantly enhancing its resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chemical corrosion, especially in chloride-containing and marine environments.
Our 1.4401 stainless steel round tubes are produced using hot rolling or cold drawing processes and undergo solution annealing and pickling treatments to ensure a uniform microstructure, smooth surface, and precise dimensional tolerances.
