Special Steel Alloy 15-5

It is a stainless steel of 15-5, with hardening by stainless martensitic precipitation. This alloy is used in applications that require better corrosion resistance and transverse properties compared to other similar martensitic grades. Strength and desired toughness can be altered by tempering range in the heat treatment process.
