ASTM A671 GR CC60 / CC65 / CC70 EFW TUBES
ASTM A671 covers standard requirements for fusion electric welding (EFW) steel pipes with filler metal aggregate, for atmospheric and low temperatures. This pipe is manufactured from a pressure vessel plate of various analyses and resistance level. This tube is suitable for low temperature service. Grade must designate the type of plate used, while the class must designate the type of heat treatment performed during pipe manufacturing. The class must be designated to determine whether the weld is examined radiographically and whether the pipe is pressure-proof. Steel samples shall be subjected to cross-guided weld stress and bending tests and shall conform to the specified mechanical requirements.
