Flange with neck

The Weldable Flange or "With Neck" has a peculiar conical neck, its beveled end is butt welded with the pipe. The internal diameter of the tube is the same as that of the flange, this characteristic provides a conduit with a practically constant section, without the possibility of producing turbulence in the gases or liquids that circulate through it.

The long neck and the transition of the thickness of the same, give this type of flange, characteristics of strength suitable in sectors of pipes subjected to bending stresses, product of line expansions.

Its application is generally for severe work, where high pressures act.
