About IS 2062 Grade B Sheet
IS 2062 Grade B is low carbon structural steel. The chemical formulation of IS 2062 sheet is silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, manganese and carbon. IS 2062 Grade B adaptable sheet is strong and corrosion resistant. The carbon content in IS 2062 Gr.B mild steel sheet ranges from 0.05 to 0.25 percent. These sheets are exceptionally weldable and have greater ductility.
The grade can be cold or hot rolled. IS 2062 hot rolled steel sheet is produced by heating metal to temperatures above 1700 degrees Fahrenheit. These sheets are easy to make and work with and have a scale surface. After the hot rolling procedure, the GR. B IS 2062 MS Cold rolled sheet is processed at room temperature. Compared to hot rolled plate IS 2062 Gr. B, these sheets have high strength and excellent surface polishing.
