1. Please measure the external head circumference. If you want to process the cylinder beforehand, ask the company for the default outer perimeter size.
2. Please divide the outer circumference of the head into 4 equal parts, and mark the cylinder and head.
3. Welding positioning, welding positioning point positioning please customers according to the diameter and thickness of the plate of the positioning point to choose the positioning point.
4. After the positioning welding is completed, weld it. Pay attention to the surface protection of the stainless steel head, after welding the head and cylinder group, it is necessary to clean the welding, welding spatter, spatter and contaminants in and around the area affected by heat in time, and carry out PT inspection and surface stripping.
5. Avoid bumps and scratches on the surface of the stainless steel head.
6. Avoid direct contact with carbon steel and avoid contamination by iron ions.
7. Do not store outdoors to avoid rain.
8. Avoid forced group welding. Structural design should avoid excessive bond stress.
9. The chloride ion content of the water in the hydrostatic test shall not exceed 25 mg/L and shall be dried in time after the test.
10. Stainless steel pickling cannot use reducing acids such as hydrochloric acid.
11. Strictly comply with the media compatibility stipulated in the "Tolerance Regulations". Note: For substable austenitic stainless steel heads such as 0Cr18Ni9 and 304, it is easy to cause surface pitting corrosion due to inadequate surface protection. When superimposed with processing stress and welding stress, it leads to stress corrosion and intergranular corrosion. For this reason, customers are requested to pay special attention to the surface protection of such stainless steels.
Points to keep in mind when using the head:
1. Carbon steel head will crack in nitrate, ammonia, sodium alkali and other environments, please specify when ordering the head to eliminate residual stress.
2. Stress corrosion cracks will occur in austenitic stainless steel in a specific environment with chloride ions, please choose a suitable material when designing.
3. For carbon steel containers that need hot-dip galvanization or aluminization, first carry out heat treatment to remove residual stress.
