ASTM A268 is the standard specification for seamless and welded ferritic and martensitic stainless steel tubing for general corrosion-resistant and high-temperature applications.
The Grade 410 stainless steel tubing offered by GNEE is a general-purpose martensitic stainless steel containing 11.5% chromium, providing good corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the corrosion resistance of 410 stainless steel round tubes can be further enhanced through processes such as quenching, tempering, and polishing. Quenching and tempering harden the material, making it suitable for applications requiring moderate corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and high strength.
ASTM A268 TP410 seamless stainless steel tubes have a hardness of HRC 48-52 and a tensile strength of 500-700 MPa, ensuring reliable performance in steam condensers and feedwater heaters. They can withstand temperatures up to 1292°F (600°C), while A268 TP410 welded tubes can operate at temperatures up to 1500°F (760°C). All tubes undergo 100% eddy current testing and hydrostatic pressure testing before delivery to ensure product integrity and performance.
