EN 1.4303 stainless steel is equivalent to AISI 305. It's also known as X4CrNi18-12. This austenitic stainless steel is characterized by its good corrosion resistance and suitability for welding and cold forming.

Mechanical Properties-soft annealed condition at room temperature
Moderate strengths can be reached at elevated temperatures (~550 °C/1022 °F). Temperatures for excessive scaling are close to 850 °C/1562 °F.

1.4303 vs 1.4301
1.4303 and 1.4301 are both austenitic stainless steels, but 1.4303 has a higher nickel content, resulting in improved corrosion resistance, particularly in cold heading applications.
