What is EN 10217-7 material?
EN 10217-7 is a European standard that specifies the manufacturing, testing, and performance requirements for welded stainless steel tubes intended for pressure applications. 1.4301 is the European material designation for austenitic stainless steel, equivalent to AISI 304, one of the most widely used stainless steels worldwide. This standard ensures that 1.4301 welded tubes meet stringent requirements for mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability, making them suitable for pressure applications in corrosive or hygienic environments.
EN 10217-7 TP304 pipes are made from hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel plate, sheet, or strip in surface conditions 1D, 2D, 2E, or 2B, and are manufactured using longitudinal or laser welding. GNEE offers descaled, heat-treated, and bright-annealed pipes in conditions such as W2(b), W2A(b), and W2R(b).We weld our pipes using an automated TIG welding process, eliminating internal and external weld seams for smooth internal and external surfaces and a perfect surface finish.
