ASTM A213 TP321 seamless pipe for boiler superheaters is an important austenitic 18/8 steel (grade 304) stabilized by the addition of titanium (321). ASTM A213 TP321 seamless pipe is selected for its good resistance to intergranular corrosion in the carbide precipitation temperature range of 425-850°C.
SS 321 heat exchanger tubes are widely used in applications up to approximately 900°C due to their high strength, resistance to scaling, phase stability, and resistance to subsequent aqueous corrosion. On the other hand, SS 321H is a modified version of SS 321 with a higher carbon content, which improves high-temperature strength.

ASTM A213 TP 321 seamless tubes are made from stainless steel billets. After cold drawing and cold rolling, they are heat treated at a specific temperature. The finished seamless tubes are primarily used in boilers, heat exchangers, and superheater systems.
