Our ASTM A358 TP316L is an electrofusion welded stainless steel tubing conforming to the ASTM A358 standard. The "TP316L" designation indicates that it is made of low-carbon 316 stainless steel, offering excellent weldability and corrosion resistance. The "pickled and annealed" condition indicates that the tubing has undergone pickling and annealing to remove surface contaminants and high-temperature heat treatment to restore its properties, resulting in a smooth inner wall free of oxide residue, ensuring low fluid resistance and meeting cleanliness requirements. TP316L pickled and annealed steel tubing is available in outer diameters ranging from 6.0–101.6 mm (1/4 inch–4 inches) (larger sizes are available upon request) and wall thicknesses from 0.5–4.0 mm (adjustable).

Testing and Inspection
Nondestructive Testing: 100% radiographic testing (RT) or ultrasonic testing (UT) in accordance with ASTM E164/E213; weld penetrant testing (PT) in accordance with ASTM E165
