ASME SA213 TP347 stainless steel heat exchanger tubes are non‑magnetic in the annealed condition and can only be hardened by cold working. Their minimum yield strength is 205 MPa and minimum tensile strength is 515 MPa. ASTM A213 TP347 is easy to form and draw, and cannot be hardened by heat treatment.

Surface Condition
ASTM A213 ASME SA-213 TP347 Stainless steel tubes shall be pickled free of scale.
When bright annealing is used, pickling is not necessary.
Any special finish requirement shall be subject to agreement between the supplier and the purchaser.
