The composition of 2507 super duplex stainless steel includes chromium, nickel, molybdenum, nitrogen, carbon, and iron. This unique combination of elements enables the steel to effectively resist stress corrosion cracking (SCC), pitting, and crevice corrosion. The plates are produced using the "vacuum induction melting + electroslag remelting dual process" followed by hot rolling and solution heat treatment. The minimum yield strength of the super duplex 2507 stainless steel plates is 80 ksi, with a minimum tensile strength of 116 ksi.

UNS S32760 plates are resistant to dilute hydrochloric acid corrosion, making them suitable for use in acid chemical plant storage tanks. The material also offers excellent machinability and weldability. ASTM A240 2507 plates are designed for high-temperature environments and are used in heat exchangers and high-temperature systems. We also produce other types of super duplex steel products, such as ASME SA240 2507 steel strips. These strips can be welded end-to-end to form pipes or used as linings in structural applications to fill gaps.
