Grade 304 stainless steel is a cost-effective, medium-strength austenitic stainless steel alloy. 304 stainless steel round bars are typically supplied in heat-treated conditions.

GNEE supplies ASTM A276 Type 304 stainless steel bars, equivalent to UNS S30400 / JIS SUS304 / EN 1.4301. As an austenitic stainless steel containing 18–20% Cr and 8–10.5% Ni, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability. Its mechanical properties include tensile strength ≥515 MPa, yield strength ≥205 MPa, and elongation ≥40% at room temperature. Production according to ASTM A479 is also available when required. Additional supply conditions for ASTM A479 304 stainless steel bars include normalized, tempered, annealed, and quenched states.

GNEE provides round bars, hex bars, and square bars in diameters from Ø1–300 mm and lengths from 1–6 m or longer, with surface finishes including black, pickled, polished, and bright-drawn. Custom services such as cut-to-length, peeling, grinding, and heat treatment are available. All products come with MTC, SGS, and EN 10204 3.1 certification. Standard lead time for regular sizes is 7–12 days. These bars are widely used in chemical processing, food industry, construction, machinery manufacturing, and marine equipment.
