AISI 316L is an austenitic stainless steel alloy considered one of the most durable on the market today. In addition to carbon, AISI 316L (not to be confused with the more common and much less valuable AISI 304) contains nickel, chromium, titanium, niobium and tantalum, elements that allow it to maintain certain technical properties. Among the main characteristics of these steels are: corrosion resistance, extremely simple component cleaning and high hygienic coefficient.
