AMS 4907 Ti6Al4V ELI Plate

The AMS 4907 specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of sheet, strip, and plate. These products have been used typically for parts requiring a combination of weldability, ductility, and good notch-toughness down to –423 °F (–253 °C), but usage is not limited to such applications. Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress corrosion cracking; ARP982 recommends practices to minimize such condition.

Titanium 6AL-4V ELI sheet is available in a variety of forms that can be cut and molded. A wide range of thicknesses can be used in structural setups.Ti 6-4 ELL sheet sizes are primarily due to their thickness, making them less suitable for bending or molding in any other way than simply cutting them to size. These plates are even suitable for high speed jets and can easily be made into moving parts for airplanes or cut to make propellers and other thin sheets.
