What is 1.4571 stainless steel material?
316Ti stainless steel is very good stainless steel grade for enviroments which are corrosive. This grade is written as 1.4571 or X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 according to EN norm and it is written as UNS S31635 according to UNS norm. 1.4571 material has a better corrosion resistance to 316L grade because of its titanium content.

What is the temperature range for 1.4571 material?
The ideal temperature range for hot working is 1149-1260°C. Post-work annealing is recommended to ensure optimum corrosion resistance.
Is 1.4571 magnetic?
These steels, such as 1.4301, 1.4404 and 1.4571, are non-magnetic under normal conditions. The crystal structure of these austenitic materials prevents the alignment of the magnetic domains, resulting in their nonmagneticity.
What welding rod is used for 316Ti?
OK Autrod 318 is a Nb-stabilized SAW-wire for welding stainless steels being included in AISI 316 group (i.e. 316Ti) when higher resistance to intergranular corrosion is required. The weld deposit is suitable for some corrosive environments (i.e. nitric acid) and highest working temperature is 400°C.
What is the difference between 1.4404 and 1.4571 material?
The primary difference lies in how they mitigate intergranular corrosion: 1.4404 (316L) reduces carbon content to minimize chromium carbide formation. 1.4571 (316Ti) adds titanium to stabilize the structure at high temperatures.
