What is EN 10216-5 material?
EN 10216-5 is a European standard (part of the EN 10216 series) that specifies the technical delivery conditions for seamless stainless steel tubes for pressure purposes. These tubes are designed to withstand pressure at room, low, and elevated temperatures and are made from austenitic and austenitic-ferritic (duplex) stainless steels. The standard defines the materials' chemical compositions and mechanical properties to ensure safety and reliability in high-stress applications.

EN 10216-5 applies to seamless circular tubes made from austenitic stainless steels (including creep-resistant steels) and duplex stainless steels. These tubes are primarily used in pressure vessels and corrosion-resistant applications.
EN 10216-5 1.4841 seamless tubes are designed based on outside diameter and wall thickness. The diameter and wall thickness of the tubes must conform to the relevant tolerances specified in EN ISO 1127. Outside diameters are D1, D2, D4, and D4, and wall thicknesses are T1, T2, T3, and T4. EN 10216-5 seamless tubes can be supplied to tighter tolerances upon request. Our factory can meet TC1 and TC2 testing requirements.
