Product description
7' length 3/4" OD stainless steel welded tube with a 16 gauge wall (0.065") which is double certified 304/304L and A249/A269. This product has been laser welded using a high energy, high density beam for precise welding, narrowness and deep penetration for excellent corrosion resistance. It features a finished mill inner diameter (ID) and a glossy annealed outer diameter (DO).
This tube undergoes rigorous quality inspection, including destructive and non-destructive examination, at the mill prior to shipment. This 9-point quality inspection examines:
- Strength - Tension, Burst
- Hardness - Rockwell, Micro
- Loudness - Eddy current, Ultrasonic, X-ray
- Leakage and force - Hydrostatic
- Leakage - Underwater air, pressure decay
- Tests of reverse curvature, flattening, reverse flattening, flange
- Dimensional - OD, wall, straightness
- Metallurgical - Grain Size, Sensitization, Corrosion, Intermetallic Phase Balance, Metallographic
